Diving into the experiences among the source and current contexts.

(The experience’s nature)

We now know the foreign and local contexts elements and what they share. However, in both contexts, these elements were involved in activities, scenarios or roles. How are they? What do people sense during these? What they have to do? What about the environment? Do they have to be present while these were happening? During this moment, we explore the characteristics and nature of each activity in their respective context.

Let's begin!

Based on the previous moments, and the information collected about the elements, the contexts and the shared topic.

1. What happens with the expressions and the activities/ scenarios they are related in their respective contexts?

-Or-

1. What happens with the person and the activities/scenarios they are related to in their respective contexts?

Let's reflect on the following questions...

Some considerations during this moment:

- It is highly recommended to collaborate with people who are related to the context where the expression is located.

- This moment focuses in the idea of experiences. The results here are going to be characteristics and qualities of  each local and foreign experience in their context..

- Question number 3 refeers to the concept of participation in an experience. This can be either active participation (actions DO affect the surroundings) or passive participation (actions DO not affect the surroundings). Making a sculpture is an example of an active participative experience (you have to interact with the materials); while watching a concert is a passive participative experience (the concert will happen anyways).

- Question number 4 refeers to another concept: Connection. An experience can posses absorptive connection aspect (the people doesnt need to be in the same environment to live the experience) or an immersive connection (where people has to be in the same environment to live the experience). Reading a book can be considered a good example of an absorptive connection with the experience; while climbing a mountain is an immersive connection with the experience.
