Cross-Relevance Diamond Method (C-RD)
What -or Who- are we going to present?
(The Source element)
Is it a tangible or intangible expression(s)? Is it a common person or a special one? By acknowledging this, its purpose, its involvement in ordinary or extraordinary activities we can discover its relevance in the source/ foreign context and why we should exhibit it in the local context.
Let's begin!
What -or who- do we want to present?

-OR-
An expression?
A person?
Some considerations during this moment:
- It is highly recommended to collaborate with people who are related to the context where the expression is located.
- The source/foreign context refers to a different context than our current or local. This also involves if we are talking about time. For example, modern-day Peru is different from Peru of 100 or 3000 years ago.
- An expression can be an artefact, an activity or a scenario. An artefact is an object, like a mug used for drinking. An activity can be ceremony or rituals like hunting or dances. A scenario could be a natural disaster or phenomena like a full moon.
- This is based on the idea of an expression tangible or intangible. Tangible expressions can be traditional craftsmanship, artefacts, objects, buildings, places/ landscapes or monuments. Intangible expressions can be Performing arts, oral tradition, social practices, rituals or festivities, knowledge or practices concerning nature or universe.
- In some cases, an expression can be tangible and describing something intangible. For this reason, the expression path is divided into three possibles types: Its reality as an activity or scenario; its involvement in an activity or scenario or if is describing an activity or scenario.
- You can always go back to the previous questions, the route proposed here is just one of many that you can take.
